Spending your entire day in a conference space can sometimes make you a little forgetful about taking care of your mind, body and soul. Picking up a few healthy habits, however, can minimize some of the strains of work! First off, make water your best friend. Despite how comforting a cup of coffee or a can of soda may be, hydrating your body with water will help you stay more physically energized and mentally clearheaded. Replacing the candy or unhealthy snack jar in the office is also extremely important in keeping your body happy and healthy. Try placing some mixed nuts or pieces of fruit in a bowl, instead. Because working in a conference space also usually entails that you’re sitting on a chair for most of the day, be mindful of your posture. Not only can bad posture hurt you physically, but it can be detrimental to your mood as well. Remind yourself to sit up straight, and take an occasional stroll around the office when you get the chance too!
