Laughing Buddha Comedy is a comedy company based at 131 Essex St. Comedian Jeff Lawrence began the company, and they put on a number of open mic nights around Manhattan. In addition, the club offers stand-up classes where amateur comedians can get a chance to try out their material in front of real audiences. Otto’s Shrunken Head
Otto’s Shrunken Head is a self-described “Tiki bar” tucked deep into the East Village at 538 E 14th St. It holds open mic hours an impressive seven days a week. Most of these shows take place from 3-6 PM, so you can attend them after a meeting in your event venue Manhattan.
